The field of cariology has changed considerably in the past decade with new screening tools, new classification systems, new therapies, new bacteria, new fungi, and a completely different mindset. Where do clinical cariologists turn when everything is changing everywhere we look? I want to be on the leading edge of whatever might help reduce the incidence of the most preventable and common disease on the planet.
